The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced domestic contracts for 65 women players for the upcoming 2025–26 season. This includes 23 young and emerging talents, showing PCB’s commitment to growing women’s cricket across all levels. Discover the full list, selection details, and PCB’s vision for the future of women’s cricket.
Two-Tier Contract System Introduced
For the first time, the contracts are split into two categories:
- Gold Contracts – 20 top-performing players
- Silver Contracts – 45 players, including U19 and emerging cricketers
These contracts are valid from July 2025 to June 2026, covering several domestic and youth tournaments.
Selection Based on Performance & Potential
According to PCB, monthly salaries have been given not only to standout performers from past events but also to those who’ve shown strong potential in recent matches and camps.
The selection was made by the Women’s National Selection Committee, led by former Test cricketer Asad Shafiq and ex-international Batool Fatima.
Players outside this list still have a chance to earn contracts by performing well in upcoming tournaments and regional academy camps.
Building a Stronger Future
This marks the third consecutive year PCB has awarded domestic contracts to women cricketers. The goal is to build a deeper talent pool and provide consistent support at the grassroots and domestic levels.
