Before We Begin — A Word From Us
PSL Cricket is built on original, human-written cricket content. We put genuine effort into every article, schedule, and match update we publish — and we take the same respect seriously when it comes to the work of others.
This DMCA Policy applies to the website pslcircket.com. It explains your rights as a copyright owner, how to contact us if your work has been used without permission, and exactly what we will do when we receive a legitimate claim.
The short version: If your content appears on our site without your permission, email us. We take every claim seriously, investigate promptly, and act quickly when a claim is valid.
What Is the DMCA?
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a United States copyright law that protects digital content creators and gives them a formal process for requesting the removal of their copyrighted work from websites where it has been used without permission.
Even though PSL Cricket is based in Pakistan, we respect and comply with DMCA principles as part of our commitment to international copyright standards and ethical content practices. We believe that creators — writers, photographers, videographers, and designers — deserve to have their work protected everywhere, not just in one country.
- DMCA gives copyright owners the right to request removal of their content from websites
- It also protects website owners who act in good faith by removing infringing content quickly
- The process is formal, documented, and taken seriously by all responsible website operators
- PSL Cricket voluntarily follows DMCA standards out of genuine respect for original creators
Our Commitment to Copyright
Respecting intellectual property is not just a legal obligation for us — it is a core value. We work hard to make sure that everything published on PSL Cricket is either original content created by our own team, or content used with proper permission and attribution.
When we reference news from other outlets, we link to the original source rather than reproduce their content. When we use images, we source from royalty-free libraries or seek permission. When we make mistakes — which can happen — we fix them fast and with full transparency.
- All PSL Cricket articles are written originally by our team
- We attribute and link to external sources when referencing outside information
- Images used on our site are either original, licensed, or sourced with proper rights
- We do not condone, support, or ignore copyright infringement on our platform
- Any team member found violating copyright will face immediate corrective action
If you ever see content on PSL Cricket that looks like it belongs to someone else without credit — even if it’s not yours — please let us know. We want to get it right.
What Types of Content Are Protected
Copyright protection covers a wide range of creative work. If you created any of the following and believe it appears on PSL Cricket without your permission, you have grounds to file a DMCA notice:
- Written articles, blog posts, match reports, or analysis pieces
- Photographs, images, or visual graphics related to cricket or sports
- Video clips, highlights, or match footage
- Infographics, charts, or original data visualisations
- Audio content, podcasts, or commentary recordings
- Original statistics compilations or databases you created
- Logos, branding, or other proprietary visual identity elements
Please note that general cricket facts, match scores, player names, and historical records are public information and are not subject to copyright. DMCA notices should only cover genuinely original creative work.
How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice
Filing a DMCA notice with us is straightforward. You don’t need a lawyer or any special form — just a clear, honest email with the right information. Here’s exactly what to do:
- Write an email with the subject line: “DMCA Takedown Notice – [brief description of your content]”
- Include all the required information listed in Section 05 below
- Send your email to: arehman108p@gmail.com
- You may also reach us via WhatsApp at +92 315 6971108 for urgent matters
- Keep a copy of your notice for your own records
We will acknowledge your notice within 48 hours and begin our review immediately. If we need any clarification or additional information, we will contact you at the email address you provide.
📋 What Your DMCA Notice Must Include
Your notice needs to contain the following 7 pieces of information to be considered valid and actionable by our team.
Your Full Name & Contact Details
Your legal name, email address, and phone number so we can respond to you directly.
Description of Your Copyrighted Work
Clearly describe what original work has been copied — a specific article, image, video, or other creative content.
Link to the Original Work
Provide a URL or location where your original content can be found so we can verify ownership.
URL of the Infringing Content on Our Site
The exact page URL on pslcircket.com where you found your content being used without permission.
Statement of Good Faith
A statement that you genuinely believe the use of your content is not authorised by you, your agent, or the law.
Statement of Accuracy
A statement confirming that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
Your Signature
Your physical or electronic signature — typing your full legal name at the bottom of the email is sufficient as an electronic signature.
A Note on Incomplete Notices
We want to help you resolve copyright issues quickly, but we can only act on notices that include all the required information outlined in Section 04. An incomplete notice may delay our response or prevent us from taking action.
If your notice is missing key details, we will reach out and let you know what additional information is needed. We will not simply ignore incomplete notices — we’ll do our best to help you complete the process correctly.
- Notices without a clear URL of the infringing content will be put on hold until the URL is provided
- Notices where ownership of the original content cannot be reasonably verified will require additional proof
- Notices that describe general categories of content rather than specific items may require clarification
If you are unsure how to write a DMCA notice, just email us explaining the situation in plain language. We’ll guide you through the process personally — no need for formal legal language.
What Happens After You File a Notice
Once we receive your DMCA notice, here is exactly what happens — step by step, with real timelines so you know what to expect at each stage.
- Acknowledgement (within 48 hours): We send you a confirmation email letting you know we have received your notice and it is under review.
- Investigation (within 48–72 hours): Our team carefully reviews the content in question, checks the information you’ve provided, and compares it against our own records and sources.
- Decision & Action: If the claim is valid, we remove or disable the infringing content immediately. If we determine the content is not infringing, we will explain our reasoning to you.
- Notification: We notify you of the outcome and the action taken, including confirmation of removal if applicable.
- Record Keeping: We keep a record of all DMCA notices received, actions taken, and communications, in line with good practice.
During busy periods — especially PSL season — our review may take up to 72 hours. We appreciate your patience and promise that every notice gets proper attention, not just a quick automated response.
Counter-Notice Process
If content is removed from PSL Cricket based on a DMCA notice, and the person whose content was removed believes the removal was a mistake or the result of misidentification, they may submit a counter-notice to us.
A valid counter-notice must include the following:
- Your full name, email address, and phone number
- Identification of the content that was removed and its original URL on our site
- A statement — under penalty of perjury — that you have a good faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of a competent court and will accept service of process
- Your physical or electronic signature
Once a valid counter-notice is received, we will notify the original complainant. If no legal action is initiated within the applicable timeframe, we may restore the removed content at our discretion.
Warning About False or Abusive Claims
While we take every DMCA notice seriously, we are aware that some notices may be filed in bad faith — to remove legitimate content for competitive, personal, or malicious reasons. This is a misuse of the DMCA process and we do not tolerate it.
- Do not file a DMCA notice for content that you do not own or have rights to
- Do not file a DMCA notice to silence legitimate criticism, commentary, or news reporting
- Do not file multiple notices for the same content in an attempt to pressure us
- Do not misrepresent facts in your notice — this can have serious legal consequences for you
Filing a false DMCA notice is a serious legal matter. Under applicable law, knowingly submitting a false DMCA claim can result in liability for damages, including legal costs. We reserve the right to report abusive claims.
We will investigate every claim fairly. If a notice is found to be false or filed in bad faith, we will reject it, document it, and take appropriate protective action.
Protecting PSL Cricket’s Own Content
Just as we respect the copyright of others, we actively protect our own original content. All articles, match previews, schedules, analysis pieces, and other creative work published on PSL Cricket is our intellectual property and is protected under copyright law.
If you find our content being reproduced without permission on another website, we would appreciate you letting us know. You can report it to us at arehman108p@gmail.com.
- Reproducing full PSL Cricket articles on another website without permission is copyright infringement
- Scraping our content using automated tools violates both our Terms & Conditions and copyright law
- Using our content for commercial purposes without a written licence is strictly prohibited
- We actively monitor for unauthorised use of our content and will file DMCA notices where appropriate
If you want to reproduce or share our content — for a cricket blog, newsletter, or media outlet — just ask us first. We are generally happy to work out a fair arrangement with genuine partners.
Repeat Infringement Policy
PSL Cricket has a strict policy regarding repeat copyright infringement. We believe that genuine mistakes happen, and a single valid claim does not automatically make someone a bad actor. However, repeated infringement — or a pattern of ignoring copyright — is a different matter entirely.
- Any contributor, partner, or team member who repeatedly infringes copyright will be permanently removed from PSL Cricket
- Users who submit the same infringing content repeatedly after removal will have their access to our platform blocked
- In serious cases of repeat infringement involving our own content, we will take legal action without further warning
- We keep full records of all DMCA notices and actions taken, which can be used as evidence in legal proceedings if necessary
We believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt the first time. But protecting original creative work — ours and everyone else’s — is not something we compromise on when a clear pattern of abuse is established.
Repeat infringement of PSL Cricket’s content by external websites will result in formal DMCA complaints being filed with their hosting providers, domain registrars, and advertising networks, including Google AdSense.
